Building workplace skills development into your teaching
Evidence tells us which skills and capabilities employers value, even as the world of work continues to change.
Far from the doom and gloom headlines of AI taking our jobs, it is precisely the things that make us human that make us more employable.

Teaching and learning, of oneself and others
Understanding systems, whether those be human relationships, or the interface between human and machine
Creativity, such as originality and the ability to generate ideas

Each one provides specific ideas for how you can incorporate the development of these skills in your modules, whether you’re teaching accounting or engineering, psychology or marketing.
